Port Blair, Nov 08: To set an paradigm towards ‘zero tolerance on encroachment of Govt. land’ and to restore valuable Govt. land of Port Blair Tehsil, the Encroachment Eviction Team under the Supervision and support of Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, had taken up a Eviction Drive to Remove illegal occupation and Construction on Govt. land.
The on-field Eviction Team lead by Revenue Inspector Shri. T.Johnson (Executive Magistrate), respective Revenue Inspectors, area Patwaries and other Team Members had taken up a two day eviction drive evicting two nos. of Petty Shops in Nayagaon village, one RCC House at Dollygunj village and Concrete compounded part of a Resort at Rangachang village.
General Public is hereby cautioned not indulge in any illegal activities regarding Encroachment of Govt. land and refrain from any kind of transaction concerning Govt. land, or else action as deemed fit will be initiated under appropriate sections of A & N LR & LRR 1966 & 68, Cr.PC and IPC. In case any of fresh encroachments are noticed, the general public can inform the District Control Room on toll free no.1070.
