Port Blair, Nov 07: The result of Supplementary Examination October 2016 of 1st MBBS students of Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) was declared on Saturday the 5th October 2016. Out of 32 students who have appeared for this Supplementary University Exam, 23 students were declared passed.
Out of the total 93 students, 61 students have already appeared and passed their university exam in the month of August 2016. Overall pass percentage of 1st batch of ANIIMS (MBBS batch 2015-16) students is 90%.
The college was established in 2015, with the aim of opening up the oppurnities for Medical Education to the aspiring students of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Though the college (ANIIMS) is in its initial infancy, A & N administration has provided good infrastructure and facilities to cater to the needs of the students.
This result has been achieved due to the hard work put in by the student’s sincere and dedicated efforts of faculty members and with the constant support and encouragement from Andaman & Nicobar Administration.
