Port Blair, Nov 07: Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA) Junglighat, Port Blair, celebrated the “BIJOYA & DIWALI SAMMELANI ANUSTHAN” on 06th November 2016, in the prayer hall of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Secondary School (E.M.), Pathrapur, Port Blair at 6.00pm.
The Function was inaugurated by Shri Shyamalendu Goswami President of Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA). Shri Goswami, also welcomed the gathering.
The students of the Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA) presented an inaugural song ‘O Asi Re Chhute Aai’ and one by one students and the music teacher presented solo song. The Key Board students of ASA presented verities song on the keyboard and also the Tabla students played Tabla with all songs. After that some other senior music lovers presented songs of Bengali and Hindi.
The programme concluded at 8.30pm with the vote of thanks by Shri Soumen Home Chowdhury, the General Secretary of Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA), Junglighat, Port Blair.
