Port Blair, Oct 26: The cyclonic storm ‘KYANT’ over eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved further westsouthwestwards in past 06 hours with speed 18 kmph and lay centred at 1130 hrs IST on Oct 26 over central Bay of Bengal, near Latitude 16.5º N and Longitude 88.0º E, 450 km southeast of Gopalpur, 520 km east-southeast of Vishakhapatnam and 730 km east-northeast of Machilipatnam. It is most likely to move west-southwestwards towards westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 72 hours. Under the influence of Cyclonic Storm (KYANT) over East Central Bay of Bengal, strong Southwest to Westerly wind speed between 35 and 45 kmph and generally rough seas likely along and off Andaman and Nicobar coasts.
