Port Blair, Oct 25: The President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma has said that the education system across the world is undergoing a revolutionary change with technology playing a major role in multiplying reach and providing access to learning tools and materials. Digital education today is no long limited to the four walls of a class room. It has paved way for virtual class rooms, making leaning attainable and providing easy access everywhere and every time. Wi-Fi has become a universal expectation among college students. Wi-Fi makes the students possible for access to academics information, day to day events , university schedules etc. In a letter to the Chief Secretary, Mr Sharma urged the administration to provide Free
Wi-Fi facility in the library of all colleges of A & N Islands with access to those websites which are academically relevant keeping in view the latest trends in digital education which include collaborative learning where a student is engaged by practicing, experiencing sharing things and gaining knowledge in a collaborative environment. He also appreciated the administration for providing free Wi-Fi facilities at public places such as Marina Park, Gandhi Park etc as the facility is found to be of much useful to the general public.
