Port Blair, May 19: Here is a good news for music lovers, music creators and singers. Andaman and Nicobar Islands has got its first hi-tech recording studio today with the inauguration of Leader Recording Studio in the second floor of Kasaragod Shopping Complex at Aberdeen Bazar.
Renowned Theatre Director and Film Maker of these islands, Padmashree Naresh Chander Lal inaugurated the maiden studio as the chief guest in the presence of Mr PP Selvam and Mr Nagarajan, Video Editors of Doordarshan Kendra here.
Congratulating the entrepreneur for establishing the first recording studio of these islands, Padmashree Naresh Chander Lal said that the enterprise has come as a major breather for local talents who earlier had to approach mainland studios for recordings at exorbitant prices. He also stressed on the importance of singing in one everydays life.
Established by pioneer in the field ‘Leader Light & Sound’, Leader Recording Studio has a sound-proof recoding room besides mixing/editing room besides other facilities.
TM Nawaz and TM Nawaz will run this Leader Recording Studio.
The state-of-art studio will fulfil the long awaited aspirations of local artistes and cultural organizations, who can now get their renditions recorded in high quality audio-visuals and editing locally at reasonable prices.
The well equipped studio comprises of a Voice-recording Room and mixing/editing Room and highly competent team with qualified Sound Engineers and expert technicians to extend the quality services to islanders.
