The experience was truly emotional. India and Indonesia are maritime neighbours and have enjoyed an warm and cordial defence cooperation in the past.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands play an important role in this. During my interactions with the Indonesian citizens and especially the Indonesian Navy, I have always felt the love, admiration and respect they share for our Islands and its people.
