Port Blair, March 17: Mr Chitranjan Paul, a government servant and a resident of Dollygunj has become the recent victim of cyber crime yesterday.
According to sources, nearly Rs. 9,56000 has been taken out from his account, illegally.
The crime has been committed by two cyber frauds with whom, the victim has shared his bank details, following a mail he received from the frauds.
It is also learnt that the Pahargaon Police has registered a case under section 419/420 34 IPC Act. Further investigation is on.
