Diglipur, Mar 17: Four students of GSSS Subhashgram today sustained serious injuries when, an auto, they were in, collided with a Cargo Pickup infront of ANIIDCO petrol pump of Diglipur.
As per details these students of GSSS Subhashgram were waiting for bus for a long time finally they decided to take an auto to reach home, a decision, which turned into a disastrous one.
Sources said that the accident occurred when the Pick Up van, coming from Aerial Bay area, took sudden right to enter ANIIDCO petrol pump, which resulted in this deadly collision. As per details, the auto driver was reportedly driving in very high speed and that the reason why he could not slow down the auto.
Out of four students two sustained grievous injuries while one girl student lost one index finger in this accident. The injured students were immediately taken to CHC Diglipur. It has been learnt that the driver of the auto has been arrested by police and his auto has been seized. A case has been registered at PS Diglipur.
