Transplanting of coconut seedlings should be done at the distance of 7.5 X 7.5 m in pit size of 1.2 breadth X 1.2 length X 1.2 m depth filled with top soil at height of 50 cm. The disease free coconut seedlings are available at the cost of Rs. 10/ seeding at Garacharma Farm and Sippighat Farm of Central Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair.
