Port Blair, May 06: Mr. A.K.Dixit, Additional Director General, South Zone, Chennai visited Doordarshan Kendra, Port Blair on 05-05-2012 and reviewed the progress of various All India Radio & Doordarshan activities in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Digitalization of Studios at DDK, Port Blair is taken up under XI th plan. The digitalization facility was commissioned by Mr. A.K.Dixit, Addl. Director General, South Zone, Chennai on 05-05-2012 at 3.00 p.m. at DDK, Port Blair. Under the scheme programme production, editing and field production has become fully digital.
With the digitalization of DDK, Port Blair the recording and transmission quality of DDK, Port Blair programmes will be viewed with more clarity and quality in these islands.
