Port Blair, Jan 17: The Andaman & Nicobar State Coop. Bank has inaugurated its’ Modernised branch at Tushnabad with ATM facility on 15th Jan, 2016 at 5.00 pm. The Bank had set up its Tushnabad branch in the year 1977, which has been modernised and installed an ATM facility recently. The customers are issued with Rupay branded ATM cards, the Rupay cards are operational in all banks’ ATMs across India and all banks’ ATM cards are also operational in ATMs of A & N State Coop. Bank.
Shri. Bhagat Singh, Chairman, ANStCB was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The programme was also attended by Shri. Subir Chander, Up-Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Smt. A Desamma, Director, ANStCB, Shri. Ravinder Rao, Managing Director, Shri. Swaran Singh, Sr. Cooperator, Shri. Rebati Mondal, Ex-Pradhan, PRI members, Govt. officials, villagers and a large gathering of SHG members.
Shri. Ravinder Rao, Managing Director welcoming the Chief Guest and all other dignitaries highlighted the modern facilities of the bank like RTGS / NEFT. He urged all the people present on the occasion to come forward avail the services of the Bank including the ATMs services.
Shri. Subir Chander, Up-Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman in his address expressed sincere thanks for opening ATM at Tushnabad area. He further said that this is the 1st ATM of Tushnabad and shall cater the needs of villagers of Ograbraj, Tushnabad, Manpur, Collinpur, Tirur, etc. Shri. Subir Chander also requested the bank to install an ATM at Collinpur area. Shri. Swaran Singh, Senior Cooperator in his address expressed his gratitude to the Management of the Bank for installing an ATM at Tushnabad.. Shri. Rebati Mondal also spoke on the occasion and expressed his thanks to the Bank for its modernisation and installation of ATM.
Shri. Bhagat Singh, Chairman of the bank in his keynote address urged all the people of the area to come forward and open their Savings A/c with the Bank and avail the benefits of ATM. He also urged people to take max. benefit of the schemes of the bank.
The programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by Shri. T Subramanian, General Manager (Dev.) of the bank.
