Port Blair, Dec 18: The valediction of the five day training programme on “Community base awareness on First Aid Fire fighting & Disaster preparedness & Medical First Aid” for general public, government employees, students etc was held on Friday at the A & N Police Fire Service Training Centre at FS (HQs).
The chief guest, in his address, Mr M.K. Shukla, Chief Fire Officer, A & N Islands asked the participants to utilize the knowledge and experience gained during the training programme in case of any eventuality at their localities. Participants actively participated and stated that this training programme has built the capacity of the participants to respond on any emergency and to avoid any major mishap. During the programme, participants also shared their views about the programme.
Altogether, 68 persons consisting employees of Govt. Organizations, private establishments, students & teachers from schools and general public were also attended the training programme. Certificates were provided to all participants by the chief guest.
