Port Blair, Dec 2: As part of Navy week celebrations, a voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized by INHS Dhanvantari on Wednesday. The camp was inaugurated by Smt Sharmistha Chatterjee, President Defence Wives Welfare Association (DWWA). Altogether, 137 volunteers donated blood, which included service personnel, their families and defence civilians. The Motto of ‘Blood Save a Life’ was prominently on display as several posters adorned the hospital premises during the Camp. The Camp was jointly co-ordinated by doctors from GB Pant Hospital Pathology Department and INHS Dhanvantari.
