Port Blair, November 08: In a welcome move, the Traffic Police unit of ANP has today began its crackdown on Trucks, which are carrying protruding rods without any signage.
Recently on 5th November after receiving a lot of complaints from the general public Andaman Sheekha had published a report on “Trucks with protruding rods plying on road without any signage”.
Andaman Sheekha noticed that, two trucks which were disobeying the rules were caught by the traffic unit this morning and were kept near the Aberdeen Police Station. It is also learnt that a fine has also been imposed against the trucks for violating rules.
