Mayabunder, November 05: An Army Jawan has been picked up by the Mayabunder Police for creating nuisance onboard MV Swaraj Dweep under heavy influence of liquor.
According to reports, the Army Jawan after consuming liquor started fighting with the other passengers inside the ship for no reasons.
Following complaint, the Captain of the ship MV Swaraj Dweep informed the local Police, after which the police picked up the Army Jawan.
It is learnt that the Army Jawan is taken to the hospital for medical examination.
