Port Blair, Nov 5:All arrangements have been made for the visit of Swami Baba Ramdev to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from Dec 8 – 13, 2015. During the 6-day visit, Swami Ramdev will hold Yog Chikitsa and Dhyan Shivir from Dec 9-13, 2015 from 5 am to 7.30 am at Netaji Stadium. A special Yoga Shivir will also be held for school students on Dec 11 and for ladied on Dec 12 from 3 pm to 5 pm.
To invite maximum participation, a publicity vehicle has already been launched by the Patanjali Yog Samity, Andaman and Nicobar Unit. The vehicle has been touring in various parts of South Andaman to inform people about the importance of yoga and to invite them to participate in the five-day yoga shivir.
Registration for free entry to the Shivir has also been started in about 100 Registration Centres spread across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Registration in the form of donation is being done in four categories, Rs 2100/-, 1100/-, 500/- and Rs 100/- per person respectively. Sitting arrangements for the Yogsadhaks will be in descending order i.e Rs 2100/-contributor will be seated near the stage and so on. Donation through registration will be contributed to the forthcoming Acharyakulam (World class education institution to revive Indian Values in A & N Islands).
