Port Blair, Nov 02: Under the aegis of Andaman Sangeet Academy a culture evening “Bijoy Sammelani-2015” was arranged by the officials of the Academy in the Prayer Hall of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Secondary School (E.M.), Prothrapur, Port Blair on 1st Nov 2015 at 5 pm.
Smti Sheela Singh, Chairperson of PBMC was the chief Guest who lit the traditional oil lamp before the Goddess Saraswati & Bharat Mata and inaugurated the function and with the rituals of the organization the function started.
The students and members of the Academy presented various items on vocal and instrumental devises. Other music lovers also presented their musical composition before the gathering. Earlier the Academy honored the Chief Guest.
The Chairperson Smti Sheela Singh while addressing the members present in the prayer hall appreciated the performance of the artists and wished the venture a grad success.
