Port Blair, Oct 27: A cleanliness drive was conducted by Gram Panchayat, Collinpur, South Andaman under the leadership of Mr Subir Chander, Up-Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman. Mr Mahadev Majhi, Pradhan, Collinpur along with Ward members and villagers participated in the drive conducted in the Tirur area. Mr Sumir Chander of Tushnabad provided necessary equipments for the cleanliness drive like Excavator free of cost for cleanliness drains and disposing of garbage. The villagers of the area were also educated on the importance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and were urged to keep their surrounding clean.
