Port Blair, Oct 27: The President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma has urged the intervention of the Lt Governor for redressal of some genuine problems of tribes of Nancowry group of islands. In his letter, Mr Sharma said that since last one month there is no speed boat as the boat which was plying for Kamorta to Katchal Teressa and Chowra has been brought to Port Blair and this has brought total disorder in the transportation system of men and materials of the tribal of Nancowry group of Islands. Mr Sharma further stated that many tribal of Nancowry group of islands have not yet received LPG subsidy as yet and there is no Lady Doctor available in the PHC of Kamorta island, said Mr Sharma.
