Diglipur, September 19: As only one day is left for the General Elections of Panchayat the Police Force geared up for final arrangements for free and fair Elections at Diglipur Tehsil. A Special Control Room is established at PS Diglipur.
About 130 additional police force including the SAP, IRBN has been sent to Diglipur Tehsil. Barricading, Picketing and full checking of vehicles are going on.
DySP, SHO, 6 Sector Police Officers along with 6 Sector Magistrates are monitoring the situation at all the polling stations.
For better communication connectivity 34 VHF stations were established by the Police department. A separate Channel is being used for the uninterrupted connectivity.
To ensure peace, IRBN sticking force reserved along tear gas and smoke in case any untoward incident happens. The Police Department Core concern is free and fair Elections.
