Port Blair, Sept 16: There has been a tremendous growth in the Water Sports activities in these islands. Keeping in view the vast potential in the area of adventure water sports, a need has arisen to identify new & potential areas for water sports activities, and also to facilitate the operators involved in these activities.
The Directorate of Tourism has been receiving proposals on introducing parasailing in the islands. Dr. Sutheeshna Babu S., Nodal Officer, National Institute of Water Sports, Goa, will be interacting with the prospective parasailing operators on 18.9.2015 at 5.00 p.m in the conference hall of the Directorate of Tourism, IP&T building, Port Blair. Interested persons may attend the discussion session on the date and time mentioned above.
