Port Blair, Aug 18: The entry and other tickets to visit the National Memorial Cellular Jail, Port Blair have been revised. Accordingly, the revised rate of entry ticket to Cellular Jail now is Rs.30/- per head. The charges for carrying video camera/handy camera (non professional) is Rs.200/- per camera while the charge for video camera (professional) is Rs.1000/- per camera. Similarly, the charge for film shooting on freedom movement in the National Memorial Cellular Jail with prior permission is Rs.10,000/- per day. The revised rates will be applicable with effect from September 1, 2015.
