Port Blair, Aug 16: In a special drive conducted on 15th August (Dry Day) against Illegal Sale of Liquor, CID have seized 215 bottles IMFL from School Line.
On receipt of secret information regarding storage and illegal sale of liquor, a Police team of Central Crime Station comprising of SI Dilip Seal, ASI Jarumba, HC Nakul Haider, PC Sameer Ahmed and LPC S.Prity headed by SI N.Zainuddin conducted raid at School Line, Near Municipal Community Hall on 15th August 2015 and recovered 215 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from the possession of Smt. Jyothi Mani, W/o Late Devendran, 39 yrs, R/o School Line, Ranchi Basti. The offender has been arrested under A & N Excise Regulation.
General public are requested to extend their help to Police in curbing this menace by passing on information regarding bootlegging on the nos:- 100, 232586, 233307, and 9474290250.
