Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (A&N) with the support of Headquarters Coast Guard Region (A&N) felicitated meritorious children on 15 Aug 15 at Port Blair for their excellent performance in academic and sports activities for the year 2014-15. A total of 28 children of Coast Guard Personnel from various units in the A&N Region were selected for the awards. The aim of the event was to recognize the hard work of the CG Children, who have not only excelled in academics but also brought laurels in sports at State/National and International level. This year five students have been selected for MBBS/B Tech (NIT) courses form the Region.
Inspector General KS Sheoran, PTM, TM Commander Coast Guard Region (A&N) presented awards and merit certificates to the meritorious children in the presence of their parents and CGWWA Committee members.
