Port Blair, Aug 16: The security alarm set off because of short circuit today triggered confusion among people in Aberdeen Bazar area.
According to reports, today at around 8.45 am the security alarm of Vijaya Bank set off suddenly, which triggered confusion among people who were present close to the bank.
The matter was immediately reported to the police and when police came they found that the alarm was triggered because of short circuit and not because of any theft.
People present at the spot alleged that the alarm was on for nearly half-an-hour and people thought it might be because of some theft happening inside the bank.
