Port Blair, Aug 7: The Directorate of Education will organize a two days’ seminar on improvement in academics and quality of Education on Aug 10 & 11, 2015 at DBRAIT Auditorium. The seminar will mainly focus on strategies and interventions for improvement in academics, monitoring and school system. The Lt. Governor, A & N Islands, will grace the inaugural session as the chief guest.
Eminent educationists from institutes in mainland have been invited to share their experiences and new tools and methodology in education with the participants. Zonal Officers, Principals, Vice Principals and Head Masters (Middle & Primary) from Govt., Private Aided and Private Unaided schools will be participating in the seminar.
As a precursor to the seminar, a one day workshop will be organized on Aug 8, 2015 in Tagore Govt. College of Education Auditorium for Zonal Officers, Principals, Vice Principals and Head Masters (Middle & Primary) of Govt. Schools to take stock of the existing practices and problems faced by the schools followed by its analysis and presentation during the two days’ conference.
