Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 01: The Lt. Governor, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, chaired a review meeting on the functioning of the Industries Department and the Urban Development Department at Lok Niwas today.
During the meeting, the Lt. Governor directed the concerned Departments to submit a detailed action plan at the earliest regarding infrastructure and construction works in the industrial sector. He emphasised the need to accelerate industrial development and further strengthen urban infrastructure in the Islands.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (APWD), Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Urban Development), Secretary (APWD) and Secretary (Industries).
