Port Blair, Aug 7: Power supply will remain suspended in some of the areas on 08.08.2015 from 7.30 am to 2 pm for maintenance of Air Breaker Switch (ABS) near Medical College, Atlanta Point. The areas to be affected by power disruption are Atlanta Point, Medical College, G.B. Pant Hospital and Marina Park area.
Power supply will also remain suspended in some areas in South Andaman on 08.08.2015 from 8 am to 2 pm for carrying works like HT & LT line clearance from Nayashar to Wandoor, maintenance of ABS of MES Dam at Chouldari junction and maintenance of HT/LT line clearance and HT line clearance work at Bimlitan and Tylerabad and jumper repair/replacement near Garacharma structure.
The outer feeder will be isolated from Nayashar ABS structure and Tiger feeder feeding Tylerabad will be isolated from Garacharma school ABS structure and for Chouldari to Tirur area will be isolated from Chouldari ABS structure near SBI Chouldari to carry out the works on 08.08.2015 subject to weather condition.
The areas to be affected by power suspension are Tylerabad and Bimlitan, Nayashar, Guptapara to Manjeri, Manjeri to Wandoor, Dhanikhari junction to Tirur and Ograbraj to Dandaspoint.
