Port Blair, July 22: The Tunighata People’s Movement of Human Rights Welfare Association, Andaman branch organized a human rights awareness programme at Ramnagar Diglipur recently. The chief guest, Smt. Lalita Tigga, Block Development Officer highlighted the importance of human rights and its violation. The guest of honour, Smti. Fuldani Tigga, Panchayat ward member also spoke about the right of women and children. Shri Mithun Das, State President of TPMHRWA highlighted the activities of the association for the welfare of Isles’ peoples, a communication said.
