Port Blair, Apt 09: The Sunni Students Federation, Andaman Centre a socio-religious association, is undertaking a series of activities in connection with its ensuing 10th Anniversary Celebration slated for December 2015. To mark the beginning of the series “EDU HELP” was launched recently, at Markaz, Kanyapuram.
The event had a huge gathering, Mr. Hameed, Member, SSF Andaman, welcome the gathering while it was blessed by Mr. Ilyas, SHO, Bambooflat as Chief Guest who encouraged the parents and students with his words – “Never be sad of being a poor and don’t feel you are alone, we are with you to give your child a bright future” besides Mr. Mohammed Shafique, Pramukh, Panchayat Samithi, Namunaghar among other guests who lend their hands in distributing the school kits. The programme brought cheers among the students from economically weaker sections who were the beneficiaries. Altogether forty one school kits were distributed. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. K. Abdul Razak, Working Secretary, SSF Andaman.
In its second leg of EDU HELP on 06.04.2015, school uniforms to twelve students of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Bambooflat belonging to economically weak category were also distributed with the kind cooperation of Principal Smt. Renu.
