Prakriti, under aegis of Naval Wives Welfare Association Port Blair, conducted a cleanliness drive and awareness campaign by Naval Children at Carbyns’ Cove from 1600-1730 hr on 04 Apr 15. About 50 children along with NWWA staff participated.
Mrs RituGoyal, Co-ordinator Prakriti, educated the young citizens on the need to Reduce, Recycle and Reuse the waste and water and electricity conservation. A slogan competition on the subject was also organized which saw active participation of all children. This was followed by extensive cleaning of the beach and surrounding areas by children.
