Baratang, Jan 16: A boy of Khattanallah, Baratang was arrested today for allegedly kidnapping a 16year old minor girl from Laukinallah of Billyground region.
According to reports, the parents of the girl lodged a complaint about their missing girl this morning at PS Billiground. The girl was missing since 12 January 2015. On information a team of PS Billiground under the leadership of SHO Sarvana came into action and started gathering information and on getting a clue the team proceeded to Baratang where both the girl and boy were trapped.
As per reports, both the girl and boy were later brought to the Primary Health Center, Billyground for medical tests.
As per medical examination and circumstantial evidences a case has been registered under 363/376 IPC RW3/4 POCSO ACT 2012. The boy will be produced in the CJM court, Mayabunder for transit remand.
