Diglipur, Dec 23: The body of 12 years old boy, Master Bishal, a student of Class VI, Government Secondary School, Madhupur, Diglipur North Andaman, who went missing while taking bath at Lamiya Bay Beach on Sunday was found today from creek between Lamia Bay and Ram Nagar area of North Andaman.
As per the reports, the members of Diglipur Durga Puja Committee went for a picnic at Lamiya Bay Beach on Sunday.
Nearly 12-15 people were taking bath in the seashore with children and suddenly a giant wave came and washed away all of them far from the seashore towards deep sea. However all managed to save themselves, except Master Bishal.
Till 4:00 pm all the members of the Durga Puja Committee searched the boy but later they informed to the Coast Guard and Police.
The team of Coast Guard and Police launched a search operation immediately but at 5:00 pm because of the poor visibility and weather conditions the team discontinued the search.
After more than 24 hours while searching the body of the missing boy was found from the creek between Lamia Bay and Ram Nagar by search teams. The body was later handed over to the family.
