Diglipur, Dec 17: Ramnagar village under Diglipur Sub-Division has been selected by the Administration as Adarsh Gram under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
The Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman, Mayabunder has conducted a meeting in the Panchayat Bhawan, Ramnagar at 3.00 PM on 15.12.2014 with PRIs and villagers of the area in the presence of all the local Heads of Offices, Assistant Commissioner & Pramukh Diglipur. The Deputy Commissioner, N&MA elaborately described about the theme of Adarsh Gram. He announced about the schemes and policies of administration which will be implemented in Ramnagar to make it an Adarsh Gram.
The problems and grievances of the villagers were also heard during the meeting. He also expressed that combined efforts are needed from all to make Ramnagar an Adarsh Gram. Local Administration, PRIs, Villagers and all heads of offices were given direction to work for better implementation of the Schemes & Strategies of Government at Ramnagar to make it an Adarsh Gram under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
