Rangat, Dec 1: The zonal level Science, Art and Craft exhibition of Rangat Educational Zone was held recently in which around 32 schools from Oral Katcha, Baratang to Govindpur, Nimbudera participated. Students of government and private institutions participated enthusiastically in the exhibition. But for the poor students of Parnashala Middle School, the exhibition was a bitter experience.
According to information, the School management did not arrange for transportation facility for the students due to which students had to walk for more than 4 kms to attend the exhibition. Braving the scorching heat, the Middle School students had to walk for nearly 8 kms for the up and down journey to participate in the exhibition. Teachers and the Headmaster of the school, however, arrived for the exhibition in their air-conditioned vehicles.
