Diglipur, Nov. 02: In a simple function was held at Diglipur Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur Shri Arava Gopi Krishna on Friday bid farewell to two employees of STS who retired on 30/10/2014 on Superannuation. The employees are Mr. B.P.Nair , station Master cum Traffic Inspector and Mr. Mohan Babu, Chowkidar.
Mr. Nair Joined STS as a conductor in 1976 and served in Southern and Northern Group of Islands for more than 38 years. Few of his achievements were, increasing of the Revenue of STS to three folds, Indent of STS bus to private parties introduced and many new profitable routes are opened in his direction.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shri Arava Gopi Krishna , IAS, Asst Commissioner, Diglipur lauded the dedicated services rendered by them and cheque of all Pensionary benefits were handover on the occasion. All STS staff and AE, Mechanical Mr. D Sekhar were also present during the occasion.
