Diglipur, Oct 27: The recent clash between two groups of BJP’s A & N unit has taken an ugly shape. The matter has already reached to the court and has also become hot topic of discussion and speculation in these Islands.
In fresh development Mr. Vishal Jolly, the President of BJP’s State unit today suspended five people against whom, a lady leader of BJP had filed an FIR recently. Mr. Babul Biswas, State Secretary, Mr. Nagen Baroi, Unit President, Subhashgram, Mr. Tapan Biswas, Party Member, Mr. Chitaranjan Biswas Party Member, and Mr. Ratan Maity Party Member are now under suspension. Surprisingly all these members are said to be from ‘B’ Group. Mr. Jolly has already suspended Mr. Jijith Rekh, who is also a prominent member of ‘B’ Group.
While ‘V’ group maintain that these are disciplinary steps to maintain discipline in party. ‘B’ Group alleges that they have been specifically targeted by ‘V’ group considering the coming Panchayat and Municipal elections.
It is believed that entire matter started with a voice recording in which a prominent lady leader of BJP was allegedly found negotiating with a Congress leader for working for Kuldeep in recent Lok Sabha Elections and working against BJP’s candidate Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray.
The controversial tape was the main agenda of the recent meeting, just before which the clash was reported. However, it has been learnt that tomorrow the Judge will be reviewing the controversial tape in court at Mayabunder.
Meanwhile, the lady BJP leader was admitted in CHC Diglipur for some complications and from CHC Diglipur, she has now been referred to G B Pant Hospital Port Blair.
