Port Blair, July 22: The Ministry of Human Resource Development has selected two teachers from the A&N Islands for the National Awards to Teachers-2013. Accordingly, Shri Sadananda Halder, PST (BM), GSSS Pahalgaon, Mayabunder, N&M Andaman District has been selected under Primary School Teacher category while in the Secondary School category the award will be given to Shri D. Solaimalai, GTT, GSSS, Subashgram, Diglipur, N&M Andaman District .
The National Award to Teachers – 2013 will be awarded by the President of India on Teacher’s Day i.e. September 5, 2014 at New Delhi, a release said here today.
