Port Blair, July 17: A 30 years old man got severely injured in a fire that injured him while lighting up a kerosene lamp after the power went off at 12.00 am today in Rangachang area of South Andaman.
According to reports the 30 years old man went to light up the kerosene lamp after the power cut but accidentally he got trapped into the fire.
According to sources, the man was taken to Garacharma Hospital into a private vehicle as no PCR van reached the spot on time, from Garacharma Hospital the man was then sent to G B Pant Hospital as there is no burning ward in the Garacharma Hospital. At present the condition of the person is said to be normal.
