Port Blair, Aug 11: In compliance to the final judgement of the Supreme Court of India in order C.A. 9048 of 2012 dated 13.12.2012, it is brought to the notice of all concerned candidates of A&N Islands who have applied for allotment/admission in degree level Engineering and Architecture seat in mainland institutions/colleges against the reserved seats allocated by the Ministry of HRD for the academic session 2013-14, that the category-wise final merit list has been displayed on 11.08.2013 in the Notice Board of Secretariat as well as in the Administration’s website.
The counseling/selection of eligible candidates for nomination to the above Engineering and Architecture seats will be held in the Auditorium, Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya, Port Blair on 12.08.2013 at 10.00 am onwards, so as to join the nominated candidates in the respective institutions/colleges on or before 15.08.2013.
All the interested candidates are hereby directed to appear in person with all educational qualification certificates/testimonials in original alongwith 4 (four) passport size photographs and 2 permanency certificates for sureties and other documents in support of their category for counselling on the date, time and venue as specified above.
No claim will be entertained or considered, in case the candidate fails to appear in person with requisite testimonials/certificates in original at the time of counselling/selection on the scheduled date and time specified above.
This arrangement is in anticipation of the approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs for review and continuance of MHA’s order dated 30.05.1996 for the academic session 2013-14. Hence, please note that this offer is subject to it being approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. All concerned should therefore use their discretion while participating in the exercise, an official communication from the Asstt. Secretary (Hr Edn) said here today.
