Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 29: A minor fire broke out at Caddle Gunj at around 11 am today, with thick smoke reportedly seen rising from the affected area, prompting an immediate response from the Fire and Police departments
A fire team from the Ferrargunj Fire Station reached the spot soon after receiving information and carried out firefighting operations. The fire was subsequently doused, preventing the situation from escalating further.
According to initial information, the fire was reported from the water pump area inside the pump house unit at Caddle Gunj. Initial inputs suggest the cause could be Short Circuit but the exact cause of the fire and the extent of damage, if any, are yet to be ascertained.
