
Diglipur, Sept. 18:The Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign was formally launched at Diglipur yesterday. The launch programme marked the beginning of a dedicated campaign aimed at promoting cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, environmental awareness and community participation across the area. The programme emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining clean and healthy surroundings and encouraging citizens to actively contribute towards the vision of a clean and Swachh Bharat.
The Pramukh and BDO, along with representatives of PRIs and Line Departments, participated in the programme and called upon all stakeholders to extend their cooperation and ensure active community involvement throughout the campaign. Emphasis was laid on cleaning public places, removal of waste, proper waste segregation and disposal, prevention of littering, sanitation awareness and maintaining cleanliness in villages and public areas.
