Sri Vijaya Pyram, Aug 14: The Gram Panchayat Kanyapuram organised a Tiranga Rally on 13th August 2026 at 9:30 AM under the Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) Campaign 2026, with the objective of promoting unity, national pride, patriotism, and respect for the National Flag.
The rally was organised in collaboration with Government Middle School, Kanyapuram; Crescent Senior Secondary School, Nayapuram; Markaz Public School, Kanyapuram; Iqra Public School, Wimberlygunj; and the Band Team of Government Senior Secondary School, Bambooflat.
The Tiranga Rally was inaugurated by Mr. P. Abdul Basheer, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Kanyapuram, in the presence of the Panchayat Secretary, elected representatives/PRIs of Gram Panchayat Kanyapuram, officials and staff of the Gram Panchayat, the Headmistress of Government Middle School, Kanyapuram, and teachers from the participating schools.
The rally commenced at 9:30 AM from Government Middle School, Kanyapuram, proceeded towards Police Outpost, Wimberlygunj, and returned to the starting point. More than 200 students and 25 teachers from the five participating schools actively participated in the rally. A large number of members of the general public of Kanyapuram Village also joined the rally, making it a vibrant expression of patriotism and community participation.
The Band Team of Government Senior Secondary School, Bambooflat, under the supervision of Mr. Satinder Pal Singh, Band In-charge, Government Senior Secondary School, Bambooflat, played a vital role in creating a patriotic atmosphere and contributing significantly to the successful conduct of the rally.
During the rally, the national song “Vande Mataram” was played, and awareness was created among the participants and the public regarding the significance, dignity, and honour of the National Flag and the spirit of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.

The rally concluded with patriotic slogans, the National Anthem, and a message of gratitude to all the participating students, teachers, officials, staff, and members of the general public. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. D.S. Shobha, Headmistress, Government Middle School, Kanyapuram.
