Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 19: In a major boost to grassroots healthcare delivery, Health 4U Multi Speciality Clinic, in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services, organized a Mega Free Health Camp at PHC Tushnabad on Friday, benefiting a large number of patients from Tushnabad and adjoining rural areas.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response since early morning, with patients lining up for consultations and diagnostic services. The initiative provided multi-speciality medical care under one roof, significantly reducing the burden on patients who otherwise need to travel to Port Blair for treatment.
Renowned specialists Dr. Sumit Rakshit (MD Medicine) and Dr. Megha Kakani (Dermatology & Cosmetology) led the medical team, offering expert consultations and treatment guidance across a wide spectrum of health conditions.
Addressing the media, Dr. Kunal Roy, Director of Health 4U Multi Speciality Clinic, stated:
“Healthcare accessibility in remote areas remains a challenge. Through such initiatives, we aim to bridge that gap and ensure that quality medical care reaches every individual. The trust shown by the people today inspires us to expand our efforts further.”
Officials from the health department also appreciated the collaborative effort, highlighting the importance of public-private partnerships in strengthening healthcare delivery across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
With the success of this camp, Health 4U has reaffirmed its commitment to conducting more outreach programs, focusing on preventive healthcare and early diagnosis in underserved regions.
