Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr. 13: Following sustained efforts and relentless follow-up by Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan of GP Harinagar, the long-standing low-voltage problem at Pinakinagar-1—affecting residents for nearly 20 years—has finally been resolved. As per details, owing to his proactive intervention and persistent engagement with the concerned authorities, the Electricity Department successfully executed the project under the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY). The work included the installation of 44 new electric poles and a high-capacity transformer, along with the strategic shifting of poles and electrical lines to ensure better load distribution and enhanced grid stability.
This long-awaited solution has brought immense relief and satisfaction to the residents of the area. On behalf of the PRIs and the villagers, Mr. Manojit Halder expressed his sincere gratitude to the electricity officials for their cooperation and timely completion of the work. He also took up the remaining minor electrical issues with Mr. Pravesh Ranjan Jha, IAS, Secretary (Power).
It was highlighted that due to the non-availability of electricity poles and other materials at the Nimbudera site office, certain works are still in pending status. After listening to these concerns, the Secretary assured the Pradhan that he will personally look into the matter and make efforts to resolve the issues at the earliest.
