Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 13: Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman inaugurated three renovated Cement Concrete (CC) Roads at Manglutan-III and Guptapara-I, pertaining to Panchayat Samiti, Ferrargunj and Gram Panchayat, Guptapara, on 12.11.2025.
The inaugural function was attended by Mrs. D. Padmawati, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Ferrargunj, Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Executive Engineer, PRI (SA), Mr. Simson, Up-Pramukh, Panchayat Samniti, Ferrargunj, Mrs. Lalita Tigga, BDO, Ferrargunj, Mr. Durlab Das, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Guptapara, and Mr. Nirmal Sarkar, Panchayat Samiti Member, Guptapara & Humfrygunj and others Elected PRI members along with a large gathering.
In his address, the Adhyaksh emphasized the need to complete all ongoing developmental works in a time-bound manner, considering the limited fair-weather window, and to ensure adherence to required technical specifications so as to provide better and sustainable civic amenities to the rural population.
