Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 01: As part of the nationwide “Swachhata Hi Seva 2025” campaign, the Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, under the leadership of Adhyaksh Mr. Prakash Adhikari, organized a cleanliness drive at the Atal Bhawan and Zilla Niwas Complex, Sri Vijaya Puram. The initiative witnessed active participation from Up-Adhyaksh Mr. Boominathan, Zilla Parishad Members Ms. Mariyam Bibi and Mr. Dasrath Verma, along with officers and staff of the Zilla Parishad.
The collective effort led to the successful cleaning of the premises, during which 36 sacks of litter and garbage were collected. The drive not only contributed to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment but also reinforced the importance of community participation and responsibility towards cleanliness under the Swachhata Hi Seva mission.
