Tushnabad, Sept. 28: A *Kisan Goshti* was organized on *25th September 2025* at *Gram Panchayat Tushnabad* by the *Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services. The programme was graced by **Dr. K. A. Naveen, Director (AH & VS), who along with **Dr. Sanjhali Soren, Senior Veterinary Officer, *Pradhan Tushnabad Mr. Anand Amrit Raj and CEO Chouldhari Service Cooperative Limited, Mr. D. N. Madhu interacted with cattle farmers of the area.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Naveen shared detailed information about various *Government Schemes and welfare programmes* being implemented by the department for the benefit of farmers. Dr. Soren highlighted the importance of scientific livestock management practices and encouraged farmers to actively avail departmental services for better productivity and income generation.
Mr. Anand Amrit Raj, Pradhan Tushnabad, appreciated the efforts of the department in conducting the Kisan Goshti and urged that such interactive sessions be organized regularly so that farmers can directly present their issues before higher authorities.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. D. N. Madhu, CEO of Chouldhari Service Cooperative Limited, highlighted the importance of the Kisan Credit Card and explained its benefits for farmers. He also underlined the key role cooperative societies play in supporting farmers.
As part of the programme, practical *training on silage making* was also conducted by the *Agriculture Demonstrator*, enabling farmers to understand effective fodder conservation techniques to ensure year-round availability of quality cattle feed.
The Kisan Goshti witnessed enthusiastic participation from local farmers, who engaged in discussions and cleared their queries regarding livestock development, breed improvement, and health management. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the farmers and officials for their active participation and support.
