Sri Vijaya Puram, May 20: INTACH Heritage Academy, in collaboration with Art & Material Heritage Division, INTACH, is conducting a series of workshops at INTACH Headquarters/Online on Preventive Care of Heritage Objects.
Every individual has objects and artefacts that have value for them, it may be something with aesthetic or financial value, or something personally important for them. One wants to take care of these in the best possible manner but may not always be equipped for it. During these workshops the participants will be taught the methods to handle, store and display objects in order to prolong their lives and preserve them. The workshops will be a blend of theoretical and practical hands-on sessions.
Workshop dates:
* Textiles: 14th June 2025
* Three-Dimensional Objects: 5th July 2025
* Paintings: 26th July 2025
* Paper, Books, and Photographs: 9th August 2025
* Timings: 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on all days
